Screening all babies is a sure way to ensure none of them has a problem later on in life. This is going to prove very beneficial for the language development of children and also for their entire lives.

In the less likely event of a baby failing both these tests, an audiologist needs to conduct diagnostic testing. This happens in about two percent of the cases.
